Carrie Carmody
Carrie Carmody has been a resident of Verano for 3 years. As a single parent she understands the pressures of juggling the demands of grad school and family on a tight budget. With more than 20 years in business management experience she is uniquely qualified to advocate that Housing stick to a fiscally responsible budget. Carrie serves in the role of managing budget and financial responsibilities for the VRC. As such she ensures that money is managed appropriately to fulfill needs for welcome week, community events, and community improvements

Andrew Hatch
Andrew Hatch is a graduate student in the Biomedical Engineering department. Andrew's main role on the VRC is the website manager and newsletter and announcement coordinator. This involves maintaining the VRC website, sending out monthly newsletters, hosting listserv responsibilities to send announcements to verano resident's and posting minutes of all VRC public meetings.

Tia Peterson
Tia Peterson is a graduate student in the Psychology and Social Behavior department. Tia's main role on the VRC is to serve as a campus liason to various campus entities who are involved with Housing issues. This involves meeting with fellow resident and graduate student groups such as the Palo Verde Residents Council (PVRC) and Associated Graduate Students (AGS), as well as UCI administration and faculty. In this role Tia works on issues that affect graduate and family housing as a whole (such as length-of-stay), as well as issues that are specific to Verano residents.

Raphaëlle Rabanes
Raphaëlle Rabanes is a PhD candidate in Psychoanalytical Anthropology at the University of Paris 7 and spouse of a Visual Studies grad student at UCI. She has taken the main role of community liason for the Verano Residents council. Her goal is to respond to residents' concerns regarding housing and to encourage them to be active in improving the community as a whole. This includes handling emails addressed to vrc@uci.edu as well as gathering ideas from the residents informally. She is an advocate for equality of rights and eco-friendly options.

Ashlie Taggart
Ashlie taggartAshlie Taggart has been a resident of Verano for over two years. Her husband is a Ph.D student in Chemistry. She loves living in Verano and hopes to help make further improvements in the community. She is currently the VRC's event planner.
